What is the International Retirement Community Accreditation Scheme (IRCAS)?

IRCAS is a voluntary scheme which aims to improve resident outcomes by ensuring national standards of quality and safety relating to services and lifestyle, organisational management, human and physical resources and environmental management are applied to participating retirement villages.

IRCAS have appointed QIP to design and deliver a national Retirement Community industry accreditation program.

The program is currently in final stages of development and will be launched shortly.

QIP delivers accreditation based on the core philosophy of industry engagement.

IRCAS is comprised of the following key industry associations including Aged and Community Services Association (ACSA); Aged Care Association Australia (ACAA) and Aged Care Queensland Incorporated (ACQ).

These strong partnerships will ensure the Retirement Village Accreditation program remains relevant and meets consumer and industry needs.
