The benefits
Why is accreditation important?
The IRCAS program will ensure participating retirement villages have the appropriate systems and facilities in place to ensure their residents can access services and amenities which positively impact their health and lifestyle.
The program will assist retirement villages to evaluate and improve the quality of resident accommodation provision and service delivery.
The IRCAS launch will be the first time in Australia that a retirement village accreditation program delivered by an independent and professional accreditation agency has been available to the retirement living industry.
The achievement of an independent accreditation status demonstrates a commitment to best practice that your retirement village can be proud of.
These factors make accreditation a valuable investment as it is becoming increasingly evident that both residents and the general public are demanding higher standards and quality outcomes from retirement villages.
